Christian Kane w/ Special Guests and live opening sets from both Steve Carlson & The Life Of Riley! This Live Acoustic Performance is the ONLY UK or European appearance by Kane in 2011 (excepting the CON 1 Convention.)

Cost & Tickets: 20 pounds sterling.  Tickets on sale NOW only through Eventbrite (www.EventBrite.com). Please check on www.ChristianKane.com for info and link to where to buy. With the intimate size of this venue, we encourage you to buy early… as it will sell out. (18+ only and must have proof of ID.)

More info: This is the only time all of these artists have performed together in one setting. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity and experience. This is not likely to be duplicated anytime soon, anywhere.

(Note: We regret that due to contractual obligations and time restrictions, we are unable to hold a VIP Meet & Greet at this event. You may very well be able to meet Christian, Steve, Riley and/or some of the other players should you attend. However, there is no organized Meet & Greet or signing. Those holding VIP laminates should hold on to them for use at another event. Thank you for your understanding.)

Pedestrians
If walking to The Asylum from Birmingham City Centre simply head towards Colmore Row (known to the locals as Pidgen Park), turn left at Snow Hill station (away from the centre) and walk in a straight line (towards The Academy of Music & Sound  music shop) for 3 minutes and your there.

Parking
There is plenty of lit on street parking directly outside the building and a lit car park on the other side of the road opposite the main doors.

Buses
All buses to the city center stop just a few minutes walk from The Asylum. Services that stop at Colmore Row (just a 3 minute walk from the Asylum) include the 9, 99, 138, 22, 23, 29, 140, 128, 258, 103, 101, 46, 7.
Services that stop at Bull Street (Next to Colmore Row, 3 minute walk from the Asylum) include the 104, 105, 107, 108, 904, 905, 907, 915, 74, 79, 110,112, 115.
Services that stop on Constitution Hill (just a 30 second walk away!) include the 7, 16, 46, 74, 79. Metro
 Midland Metro trams run frequently between Wolverhampton and Birmingham 7 days a week and stop at Snow Hill station, just a 3 minute walk!

Train
The closest train station is Snow Hill, visible from the venue Snow Hill is just a 3 minute walk. New Street and Moor Street Station are both slightly further away been closer to a 10 minute walk. All three stations have taxi ranks outside.
 

To travel from NEC Complex (Hilton Metropole / AIPRORT) by Car:
Exit the NEC complex heading to the M42. Join the M42 Eastbound in the direction of M1/M6/London/Lichfield
After approx 2 miles exit the M42 at Junction 7 onto the M6 North.
Stay on M6 for approx 8 miles and then exit at Junction 6 for M6/A38(M)/A38 - The Aston Expressway
Keep straight on A38 heading into Birmingham for approx 2 miles until you enter a flyover that swings around to the right.
Stay in the left hand land and filter to the left by The Thistle Hotel (do not go through the tunnel straight ahead of you as you come over the flyover)
At the junction ahead of you turn right (signposted Hockley/Jewellery quarter)
You will pass the Academy of Music & Sound on your left and just after that take the right hand turn into Summer Lane

From NEC Complex by Train:
From the Metropole to Birmingham International Train Station is approx 10 minutes walk.
Train journey to New Street Station is 12 -17 minutes depending on which train you get and they leave every 8-15 minutes.
Walking to venue from New Street will take about 15 minutes, a cab will take 5 min.
